George’s passion for serving others is the reason he successfully pursued a seat in the State Assembly, representing Schenectady and Montgomery Counties. As a member of the Legislature, George brought his businessman’s judgment and commonsense principles to state government, championing lower taxes, cutting the bureaucracy and advocating the entrepreneurial spirit of New York’s businesses to spur job creation. From a long-sought property tax cap, to the first real effort to reign in government spending in more than a decade and working in a bi-partisan effort, George Amedore acted in the best interest on behalf of all New Yorkers.
